Its a boy!!!

Congratulations to Luke and Claire on the birth of their son, Herbie George Young. Born at 18:02 on the 24th June 2011. Mother and baby doing well. Luke will be out of the factory for a few days while he recovers from the shock of it all.

Slam

For the last few months Luke has been working with Sam Lamiroy (and alot of foam) on some boards and the outcome is a couple of 6'2" gassers and a 5'10" mini zero now under Mr. Lamiroys twinkly toes - " there are just some situations where boards built from alternative materials just start to falter". This is where your good, old fasioned PU board comes in... and a bloke called Mr.Young. We'll keep you posted with how he gets on.

Sorry we've been so slack!

We promise to update the news at least once a month!.. honest

New Team rider

Mr.Joe white has been riding Lukes boards for a while now, so its about time we added him to the team riders page. Joe likes to do things the hard way, so rather than borrowing a longboard to do the paddle around the Wembury mewstone race, he just used his new 5'8 pagan. He didn't win.
Joes exploits both in hefty and tiddly waves are very impressive... even more so now that his new quiver doesnt breach the 5'8 mark and recons he's going to take them to the limits!!!

Are we nearly there yet?

As we write this Lukes wife is just about to give birth to their second child - we'll update the site as soon as we get some news on this one - go Claire!

Rapa Nui clothing

Luke has recently teamed up with the crew at Rapa Nui eco clothing. The brand based on the isle of Wight produce threads that not only make a difference to the environment but also prevent one looking like a complete goose... check them out at www.rapanuiclothing.com
Hopefuly this means he won't spend so much time in the buff.
